Meet Katie
Mary would walk to her mother's flower shop after school. It was there that her love of floristry began. She didn't know that someday, she too would teach her daughter the art of floral design.
Together, we serve our clients with a thoughtful experience. We work side-by-side to understand each couple's vision for their wedding day and execute that in an intentional, beautiful way.

After studying fine arts at DAAP, my desire for the creative and passion for business ownership merged. Together with my mom, we launched Katie's Blooms. With humble beginnings in my mother's basement, we built on the legacy started by my grandmother. Over the years, I've watched my business grow alongside my family, and am honored to serve my clients turned friends.
When I'm not in the garden, I'm with my sweet sons or husband. Often coffee or wine in hand, out on a walk with my family. I'm slowly building my micro-farm at home (ask me about my chickens).

The world of floristry seemed to be my destiny. After learning the craft from my mother, Betty, in her floral shop - I eventually met my husband at a floral convention. Many years later, I taught my daughter Katie the same skills afforded to me by my mother. Now, it's often Katie that I learn from.
When I'm not at the shop with Katie, I love to spend my down-time with my grandkids or dining al-fresco with my husband. I love to see Broadway shows, travel, and ultimately create lasting memories with my family.
